Medela Swing PVC Tubing Replacement

Have you just been given or purchased a second hand Medela Breast Pump? Then it might be best to replace the tubing for improved suction and hygiene.

The Freestyle uses one single tube which has 3 ends. The 2 shorter ends connect to the Breast Shield Connector while the longer tail connects to the pump motor. It is not necessary to wash or sterilize the tubing after each use but if moisture gets into it you can just run the motor with the tube still connected. If you only intend to pump on one side, you slot one of the tube ends into the yellow middle section of the tube.
